Barnes a long standing construction and loss adjuster specialist, wanted to update their branding to appear more high end and professional as they dealt with a range of clients. Ultimately they want to build trust as in there line of work they stated it is a hard to come by quality.

Concept One

Crest/shield shape associated to family, security and trusted. ‘B’ icon quickly identifiable. 1978 you are experienced, skilled and well versed in the services offered.

Concept Two

Fire investigation is a key service offered. Fire burns upwards in a V shape. This icon was designed to depict the seat of fire. The seat of the fire is used to find out the cause of fire the level to determine this requires a detailed inspection as it’s location is not forthcoming.

Interlocking ‘B’ to symbolise togetherness, also reminiscent of a decorative jewel that is strong due to its connections.
